The Solution

A multi-pronged approach focusing on financial management and project delivery.

  • Designed and led the restructure of the EPMO and Project Delivery business units 
  • Developed transparent and consistent Executive Project Board and Project Steering Committee reporting​ (increased number of reports received on time)  
  • Improved sponsor understanding of their role in portfolio management and delivery practices​ by providing coaching and executive education sessions 
  • Introduced quality assurance mechanisms as a mandatory component of all projects​, tracked and reported on via the EPMO and shared with project community 
  • Embedded uplifted scheduling and dependency management best practices
  • Uplifted financial management practices across projects and portfolio​ i.e. improved accuracy, classification of financial spend and commenced forecast reviews 
  • Matured Portfolio resource management processes (demand / supply) including business Subject Matter Experts​ 
  • All projects have clearly defined business outcomes and measures of success​

Improvements in project delivery and in areas that reduce time to value for initiatives.
